Perris Raceway First To Receive Brett Downey Safety Foundation Recognition Billboard

On Friday June 9th, The Brett Downey Safety Foundation presented Perris Raceway with the first Recognition Billboard. Perris Raceway has shown in good faith that they have complied with the BDSF track guidelines for more than six months and has agreed forever there after. Perris Raceway has demonstrated that they are a Safety First Facility and has gone above and beyond the BDSF track guidelines. They require their flaggers to wear safety helmets and they number parts of the track to assist emergency workers to quickly locate down riders. The Recognition Billboard is a part of the Foundations ultimate goal in assisting tracks to become a safety first facility. BDSF will need the input from the watchful eyes of riders and parents that patronize the tracks with the Billboards. This makes the Brett Downey Safety Foundation-- a Foundation of the people and for the people.
