Brett Downey Safety Foundation announces Larry Morton as the Amateur National Safety Advisor

The Brett Downey Safety Foundation is proud to announce Larry Morton as the Amateur National Safety Advisor. Larry will attend the amateur national events and will serve as a volunteer safety advisor for promoters and track owners. He will provide advice and instruction on track building safety, caution flagger safety and rider safety for promoters and track owners. Larry will be at the amateur national events on behalf of The Brett Downey Safety Foundation on a volunteer basis.  Larry is not at the amateur nationals to tell any one group how to do it or what to do, he’s there for another set of eyes and ears to make observations and suggestions if asked upon by the promoters and track owners.

Larry has been dedicated to the sport of motocross for over 35 years. He raced professionally in the late 70’s and into the early 80’s. He’s been a motocross school instructor for over 11 years, where he learned under the tutelage of Gary Semics. Larry now has a well established and successful Motocross School called 5 Magics Motocross School (www.5mmxs.com) in Texas. Larry also has over 8 years experience in track building and race promoting. Larry is a dedicated instructor, a dedicated motocross enthusiast and most importantly dedicated to motocross safety.
